Forum Title: Indoor salt water pool
Questions for the smart people. I am trying to help someone that has an indoor salt water pool. Do indoor pools need stabilizer? How do determine what levels should be?

Yes, indoor pools need a minimum amount of stabilizer. I believe 20ppm or so helps buffer the chlorine. Many just consider cya as an agent to protect the chlorine from sun but indoor pools benefit in other ways.

If it is 60ppm for cya would that be ok, and it is a indoor salt water if that makes a difference
